Macular Pigment Density Test

Macular Pigment Density Test

There is now compelling evidence that people with low macular pigment levels are at risk in later life of developing AMD. It is recommended that people from the age of 30 years onwards include this test as part of their normal eye care programme because macular pigment depletes with age.

Individuals now have an opportunity to remove a major risk factor of developing AMD and going blind by taking this test to see how much projective macular pigment they have remaining. It is now possible to restore the density of the macular pigment by dietary supplementation. The supplement we are recommending is MACUSHIELD, but we suggest that you do not take our word for it and check it out for yourself.

Inside and at the back of the eye, the retina is the only place in the body where arteries and veins can be visually inspected. Blood vessels here are branches of the body's larger circulatory tree and are an excellent reflector of general health. For example, life's total accumulation of cholesterol can be seen on the walls of arterioles (small arteries).

Dr Warren Ringold MD has developed his Own Eye Nutritional Supplement. Preserve Mac Forte

"Smoking is the only proven cause of AMD that people can do anything about."

Macular Degeneration Treatment programmes can only have a limited degree of success so prevention has to be better than cure.
